My nine years of photography have led up to the moments of photographing my little sisters proposal, engagement (view their engagements here), bridals, and wedding. All of the work and time I have invested in this craft has all been made worth it by getting to document this amazing time in Anna and David’s life. My beloved assistant photographer, Christine, and I both shot Anna & David’s wedding together. Almost every part of their beautiful wedding was put together by our family and close friends, every one came together to contribute what they were good at to make this day as perfect as it was.
Our talented cousin, April, did all of our make-up.
We all got ready at our grandparents home, filled to the brim with pieces of them. Anna and I spent our early childhoods spending weekends on their plant nursery and farm.
Nanny doing some last minute adjustments on the sleeves of Anna’s dress.
Here’s me! Trying hard to be a part of everything but also photograph the day!
One of my favorite images of the day. Anna and Poppop getting ready together.
I told David he could turn around as soon as Anna touched his back, and he jumped so fast when she did.
Dad getting his first look of Anna! I interrupt these wedding photos so share a few from Anna’s bridals session! We were lucky to get to shoot on the Blue Ridge Parkway outside Asheville.
In my bridesmaid dress, still shooting!
Anna and David have known each other almost their entire lives. Here are their day-care photos from when they were in the same class.
Form coworkers, to friends, to in-laws.
Since they had a brunch wedding, we did sunset portraits a little bit after the wedding day. We lucked out with the PERFECT sunset.
Ugh, heart eyes forever.
